I’m excited to announce I will be participating in Baltimore Craft Week from 12-18 April! Bookmark it and set a reminder!
Quilting is a democratic art. Quilts are part of the history of different communities, different economic classes and they’ve been made for all kinds of reasons. Quilts are part of our history. They tell our story. So I think they are a perfect medium for addressing my deepest concerns about the state of democracy itself.
This quilt is such a celebration of light and color, I decided to name her Aurora, which has a double meaning, both for “dawn” and the Aurora Borealis.

2020 will go down as a very weird year. I have been been extra cautious with my activities during COVID-19 so I’ve had many hours at home to fill with creative projects.
