Join Me for American Craft Made Baltimore March 3-5!

Hey there. I’m still here and I’ve been very busy teaching, making, and living life! At the moment, I’m getting ready for American Craft Made in Baltimore coming up fast in a couple weeks! I will have hoop embroideries for sale, patches, patterns, and more.

Come see me in Booth 832!

I’ve just completed a couple of hoops to add to my line. These two are my jam, total improvisation and experimentation. I never know where I will end up when I start and that is why I’m so addicted to this process. I start with a piece of found fabric like these scraps of vintage kimono silk and allow the movement, pattern, and imagery in the fabric inspire my palette and marks. Each choice begets the next. At some point, they feel finished.

I love these two pieces together. They seem to be in dialogue.

I’ve also been working on a batch of small embroideries I intend to transform into small patches, brooches, and earrings. Stay tuned for more on that!
