So, I had an email out of the blue from someone asking into my bakery series and where they can be purchased online. Well, I had been under contract not to sell them for several months after my show on Buy Some Damn Art and then… well, I guess I had moved onto other things. I set them aside. Maybe I was a little attached to them, too.

But it’s time to move on and let go of these small works, which tell a little bit of my story and my experiences living in Germany for the first time. You can read more about this series in this post I wrote at the time.

This exploration ended up being a big boost for me, leading to features on The Jealous Curator and The Artsy Forager. My partnership with Sebastian Foster followed soon after.
